Hi there,
Great stuff. I’m 45, and I’ve been mumbling about misandry since I was in my early 20′s…and occassionally bashing out a letter to the editor (strangely, it never generates a feminist response…when faced with determined opposition, they go quiet). But now, with my own two boys (my wife’s a gem btw) growing toward teenage years, I’m more and more concerned about it. I want to start my own blog here (in the country I’m in) and get active, and I’d like to make contact with you…maybe we can exchange emails.
“Ivan”
I am so sick with the double standards these days. Even in the army women have to run lesser distances and carry less gear. This is outrageous, I don’t want half-witted soldiers guarding my borders! During war there is no place for chivalry and women are worse combat wise no doubt about it. I face such discrimination from the very beginning in primary school. Even now in government (Poland) they want to enforce 50/50 gender split for sejm/senate places. This given the fact that women don’t care about politics (they care about shoes and pretty dresses) will cause that only big political parties will meet this requirement and that half of the government will consist of people not suitable for this work.
It demonstrates that women and the feminists (not just women) oppose Excellence.
Excellence means going beyond what is required. For Leftists who seek equality they put Excellence at a lower priority. They have to. But then they go ahead and they claim they are all for Excellence, because Diversity, in and of itself, contributes to an Excellent result.
To which I say NONSENSE.
Diversity does nothing of the sort. Diversity gives you a bigger range of points of view, but not so much a greater range of talent. It is talent, and hard work, and certain traits that contribute to Excellence.
There is a story in Sun Tzu’s Art of War where Sun Tzu was asked if he could apply his principles to a military unit entirely comprised of women. Sun Tzu responded that it could.
Here’s what happened. Master Sun was given I think 100 of the king’s concubines to use as soldiers. He then equipped each with a spear, and had them all line up in two groups, each led by the king’s favorite concubines.
Once he got everyone lined up, he then explained to the ladies that he will bark a command, and that they are to do it instantly as soon as the order was given.
So he ordered, Face Right! The women erupted in laughter.
Then he said, “If the orders are given, but are not understood, it is the fault of the commander.” So he explained what he wanted again.
Then he shouted “Face Right!” Again, the women laughed.
Then he said, “If the orders are understood, but the troops do not obey anyway, then it is the fault of the line officers in command.”
So he ordered the two company commanders, the two concubines favored by the king, to be executed.
The king saw that, and he ordered a messenger to be sent to stop the execution. The messenger galloped into the camp with the message from the king.
Master Sun said to his adjutant, “What is the penalty for galloping into camp?” His adjutant said, “Death.” But Master Sun didn’t execute the messenger, excusing this as a direct message from the sovereign.
But, then he read the king’s message, which basically said that these two concubines help the king with his digestion, and that if these are killed his food will not taste as sweet.
Master Sun said, “There are some orders from the sovereign that the general is not obliged to obey.” So, promptly, the two concubines were beheaded.
Then, after Sun assigned two new leaders to the companies of women, he ordered, “Face Right!” Promptly, without laughter, the women faced right. Then he ordered Face Left! The women faced left. Then, he had them drill for several hours.
Afterward, he sent a message to the king, saying, “These women are ready for war. They are ready to walk through fire and water without fear of the enemy. They are ready for your inspection.”
The king replied that he had seen enough, and that he wanted to stop the experiment, and wished to employ Master Sun further.
But Master Sun replied that the king, “is not interested in matters of war.” That his reluctance to inspect the troops were an indication that he was not serious about making women into warriors.
And that’s part of this lesson. The elites in Washington and London and elsewhere do not care if women can or cannot succeed as soldiers, and do not care if they can pass muster or not. Indeed, they will adjust standards so that women can pass. This is so that it strokes women’s vanity, their ego, to the point that they can feel entitled to be a part of a realm where men are most suitable.
