What people often do not know about Iran is that young men are required to state that they are willing to walk across minefields in “waves” so that their brothers behind them can cross in safety. Thousands of young boys were killed this way during the Iraq/Iran war.
Good work. I’m sure this is wildly unpopular, but I see what you are talking about every day.
Wow, wow, and wow.
I’m sure I’m going to get the “angry man-hating feminist” title for commenting here, but your perception of feminism is absolutely skewed. How can you say you’ve done any research on feminism at all when you are so clearly unaware of what feminism stands for? I can’t speak for all of the feminists, but all of the ones I network with on various sites do not believe they are superior to men, or deserve better or more than men. What we want is equality, the same freedoms and freedom to choose and determine our own lives as men have. We do not hate all men, by any means. I’m sorry that you’re so wildly misguided about what we want in this world (which I’ll remind you, isn’t more than what men have) that you’ve made it your personal mission to spread inaccurate information to men who aren’t going to dedicate nearly as much time to vilifying feminists as you have. Unfortunately, they’re going to believe you, which is sad, because you’re painting all women, and all feminists, as man-haters who want special privileges. You’ve presented this all like you’re honestly trying to clarify things and don’t see women as any less. But in your introduction video you say one thing that gives it all away: “Women are too stupid to see it.” You believe that women are stupid. And that’s the truth of it all. All I have left to say is that I pity you and your small-mindedness about this.
I have written an article previously that partially addresses your points, but I will be posting a new article or film in due course covering the gist of what you say here: Not all Feminists are like that / Feminism is misunderstood / You just have a problem with women etc
For now, to address your points:
1) “How can you say you’ve done any research on feminism at all when you are so clearly unaware of what feminism stands for?”
Feminism stands for increasing female power. Indefinitely. Forever. With no end point. This article addresses this fact comprehensively.
Feminism will never stop furthering the cause of women, irrespective of the true position of women in society and certainly regardless of the position of men.
Feminism is the pursuit of female-supremacy. Where women would be regarded as an actually superior class of human. And what is a glimpse of what this might mean? For starters, how about closing women’s prisons because women (by virtue of being women) shouldn’t go to prison for their crimes?
Equality, indeed.
I would suggest that you are the one who is unaware of what feminism truly represents. The tired mantra of what Feminism supposedly stands for is not borne-out by reality. A Feminist who fails to understand the virulent gynocentrism that they sign-up to, is simply a ‘useful idiot‘.
My own example would be, that you are like a hardworking but dense woman from Germany, 1938 who might say: “As a woman and nazi party member. I tell you that, as the manifesto clearly says, Nazi’s stand only for fair rights for Germans and certainly not Aryan supremacy”.
Feminism is a hate-crime against men. It creates all-manner of lies about men and the nature of men and our social history, in order to falsely paint men as oppressors and abusers of women. This is simple male-hatred as is the very idea of patriarchy.
The big pretence is that Feminism is all about the pursuit of equality. It’s nothing of the sort. For one thing, equality between men and women is impossible to define let alone achieve.
There are no freedoms that men possess that women don’t. On the other hand, there are responsibilities that men have that women don’t, such as Selective Service in the USA and conscription in the UK. Yet, in their pursuit of equality, no Feminist’s march for the right to Selective Service.
Feminists want equal outcomes rather than equal opportunities. For example, when a Feminists looks at the Olympic men’s 100m race and sees that all the finalists are black men, what might she think? Well, if she applies her own Feminist mentality on outcomes to it, she will inevitably think that this means that white athletes must be discriminated against and so we must have government programs to assist white men in athletics.
And perhaps chastisements and punishments against black athletes for oppressing white athletes by being faster than them.
No.
Certain black athletes are faster than the rest and that’s the end of it. Trying to get a different outcome can only be achieved if one attempts to fix the results. And that’s what Feminism is all about: tilting the playing field and destroying any semblance of fairness in order to creates equal outcomes.
Feminists are entirely fixated on genitalia and fail to see reality. They look at congress or parliament and see that it’s mostly men, Therefore, she thinks, women are discriminated against in politics. It doesn’t matter that 65% of the US electorate is female. It doesn’t’ matter how many VAWAs, Title IX’s or other women’s’ programs are created by congress (mostly men, remember) for women. If the person signing these misandric acts into law is not female, well, there is discrimination against women.
Women are currently 55% of university entrants in the UK. What do Feminists do? Do they demand equality and insist on a reduction in female numbers or an increase in male students? No, they demand more help for women in education and further afield. And they will continue to do this even when female numbers are 70%. Or 80%. Or 90%. Should it ever be 100%, Feminists, such as yourself will no doubt campaign for more universities to be built, so that no woman might be denied an education in our oppressive patriarchy…
2) “you’re painting all women, and all feminists, as man-haters who want special privileges”
All Feminists want special privileges over men and my arguments apply to women and men who are Feminists. Some Feminists are out-and-out man-haters and the rest just go along for the ride. As I’ve said, useful idiots.
They won’t advocate killing men like some Feminists, or describe all men as rapists like other Feminists. But they will do a 5k run for women’s cancer research even though men’s health funding for prostrate cancer is 100 times lower than women’s funding for breast cancer.
So these women won’t advocate actively doing away with men, but they will do nothing about men dying much earlier than they should.
It would never occur to these women to run for male cancers. Male cancers or the lack of funding for them, or anything like equality in health funding, is not an issue for Feminists; only issues that affect women concern them.
This is what I mean about Feminism never stopping in it’s pursuit of female power and female privilege. It doesn’t’ matter what the score is between men and women, they always want more for women.
3) “you say one thing that gives it all away: “Women are too stupid to see it.” You believe that women are stupid. And that’s the truth of it all.”
With respect to women who adopt Feminism, they are indeed stupid. To say that “women are too stupid to see it” out of context as you have done here, is unsupportable and is a misrepresentation of my material. This is a typical Feminist tactic to divert attention from the issue at hand,
So, why do I say that women have been “stupid” regarding Feminism?
Well, we regard animals as possessing a lower order of intelligence than people. But could you imagine a female elephant, for example, being stupid enough to start believing that male elephants oppress them? And have always oppressed them ever since there have been elephants?
Could you imagine female elephants putting their faith and trust in humans to keep them safe from their males in the same way that women put their faith and votes in big government to protect them from men? (It’s a strange analogy, I know, but I only have the other creatures on Earth to work with).
If a female elephant could laugh she would trumpet her amusement at such a preposterous idea.
Yet, even though elephants, monkeys, dogs, cats, mice (and any other creature we regard as less intelligent than us) would surely laugh, women have signed up to it, bought the t-shirt and are coming back for more with smiles on their faces.
In the final analysis, Feminist women believe that government is their friend and men are their enemy. As long as that holds true for the majority of women, so does the statement “women are too stupid to see it”.
You, like all Feminists, are only perpetuating a needless and despicable sex-war because you are either too stupid to understand what it’s all about, or you are complicit in the ultimate aim of Feminism: female supremacy.
4) “I pity you and your small-mindedness about this”
Rather than pity me, perhaps do something to show me I’m wrong.
Show me a Feminist who has made a donation to avoiceformen, or Everyman or Mankind.
Show me a Feminist website advocating equality in education or military duty.
Show me a Feminist who has demanded a Minister for men or a Council for men and boys.
I won’t hold my breath.
MWM, I humbly –but insistently– urge you to present your reply to “a feminist” as a proper post. It’s so excellent and I would hate for it to be missed by everyone not following your comments RSS feed as I do.
The falsehood that feminism is about “equality” is a common claim, and men would benefit from learning how to address this.
As always, thank you for your hard work.
Thanks for this. I think I might do that.
I agree with this sentiment – that ultimately, feminism enlsaves rather than liberates women. In trying to better understand why I believe this to be so, I came across an interesting piece somewhere out there on the web, some time ago. In essence, and having spend a number of years communicating privately with Michele Elliott of Kidscape, the thought crossed my mind one day that the way Michele (in particular) views the whole paedophile/child abuse phenomenon is in some ways reminiscent of the Ku Klux Klan, when in 1950′s and 1960′s America, black people were singled out simply because of the colour of their skin.
It was only a fleeting thought – and no sooner had I thought this, than I almost felt guilty for thinking Michele and Kidscape could be in any way simlilar. More intrigued by my own reaction, I then did a search on feminists and the Ku Klux Klan, or something similar in nature. What I found was even more intriguing – that the Ku Klux Klan was originally set up as a Women’s Movement in Wild West USA.
I was surprised to unearth this little nugget, that it was women and not men whom it was first intended for – and the reasons had nothing to do with people of differing skin colour. It was set up as a women’s group, with men to protect them from unsavoury sexual approaches – so perhaps still a vigilante organisation but not the one that evolved into the KKK of more recent years.
So, having had the thought that Kidscape was more Ku Klux Klan than Kensington (where Kidscape is based), it was indeed a surprise to realise that there was perhaps more truth in my ‘analysis’ than I could have anticipated.
Although it has little to do with feminism per se, one of my biggest criticisms of the child abuse fraternity is that it appears to be largely populated by feminists and or liberals. To conlcude – how can anyone who has no personal understanding of abuse hope to adequately convey what living with abuse is like? And yet they do this all the time.
If such an approach could ever be justified, would people not feel so afraid? Would not their fears have been assuaged, rather than embellished?
So, yes, feminists are indeed enslaved – but worse than this is that their false rhetoric enslaves those who have already been victimised, in only ever labelling them as victims. For without victims, they have no purpose, and without victims, there are fewer ‘paedophiles’.
Although there is little doubt that abuse leaves scars, it is those who ensure those wounds can never heal who are responsible for perpetrating more lasting damage.
